Hi all,
Apologies for the common thread, but my attempts to PM individuals who have posted in those previous recommendation threads hasn't come up with much in the way of information.
I'm half of a devoted CC couple very interested in domestic AA/biracial infant adoption. We're currently in CT, though I'm very willing to work with an agency out of state, as there's not much in the area that I can find good recommendations for.
Ideally, I'm looking for recs for an agency that kept up good communication with you, doesn't have strict faith-family requirements, cares about their birth mothers, and is actively looking for homes for AA kiddos, or is making it a priority through sliding scale fees/etc.
Any help at all- even to steer me away from agencies you had a bad experience with- would be very, very helpful, and appreciated. :) Thank you!

Hello Sweetgrey! I live in Indiana and adopted out of Ohio so I don't know any good agencies in your neck of the woods. I just wanted to wish you all the best in your journey!

There are a few links to adoption rating sites. SO you can use them to look up agencies, and find out what peoples experiences were.
Me I will for sure Rate my Agency when my process is done, to help other wemon.
Gwen: Thank you! If you have strong feelings about the agencies you used, I'd still like the recommendation. There isn't much in my neck of the woods that I feel comfortable with at the moment.
Mandi: Thanks so much; I've seen several of those in my research process, but there was a site there I'd not seen before. Unfortunately, there are few agencies in my state that have more than one (or even one!) review or recommendation. I've been researching for months and come up with little that I feel is concrete.
Overall, it's been frustrating- because everything I read tells me to 'do my homework', but that's led to a number of dead ends and ambiguous information.
