Has anyone had any recent experiences with this organization. From what I am reading, they charge a lot, change birth information and don't seem very honest. I don't even want to bother if I am not going to get honest answers no matter how little they are. I also don't want to pay a lot for a little bit of information.
Thanks!

Curly, it just depends on the branch your adoption was handled through, to be quite honest. Some offices are great, others not so much. Where mine was handled, I was able to get non-id info for free, and apparently Chicago CC now has a centralized mutual consent registry for the counties it serves. Just reach out with a phone call or check the website for your county/diocese and you might find out what you're getting into.

I should have updated my information sooner but have been sooo busy. I actually contacted their offices and the lady that helped me was WONDERFUL. There is a fee but not unmanageable and I believe if you couldn't afford it, I think there was help available. I was able to contact the coordinator as I needed for moral support and questions. It was great. I have found my biological family on my mother's side and actually met some of the family members including my birth mom recently. Great experience. Thanks for your reply.
