Or countries with children of asian descent. i definately would like to adopt from asia or a country that has children with asian descent because I know the most about that culture and could educate them about it. So in the next few years do you think countries like vietnam, cambodia, kazakhstan will be opening in even the next five years?
There's simply no way to know.
Cambodia and Vietnam would probably have no objection to opening. However, the U.S. will not permit adoptions to resume until those countries have implemented a Hague-compliant adoption system that is likely to eliminate some of the corruption that occurred in the past. The same is true of Kazakhstan, which has ratified the Hague, but that has not yet passed a new family law and come up with regulations that the U.S. can accept as likely to lead to a clean and fair process.
