I was adopted when i was three years old and have always been told about this, armed with only a few peices of knowledge and no memories of my birth family i have always wanted to meet my birth family. in 2006 I became the proud mum of a little girl and a few years later was able to tell my biological mother that she was a grand-parent, I have been able to maintain a relationship with her even going as far as meeting her last year, I would now like to meet my birth father to give him the news also, i have very little information on him and dont really know how to go about finding him, all of the websites need payment and i dont have any money to pay them, does anyone know of any other ways to start looking?

ahh sorry i forgot to mention that i live (and all this happened) in the UK i was just trying to see if anyone knew of any free ways to find people?
Check in with some search angels in the USA, and see if they have leads to people doing the same over there.
Well, I went to People Search by ZabaSearch - Free People Search Engine, and may have found my birth father. It gives you an address and a phone number. In my case, I'm not sure if they're accurate yet, or how old they are, but it's free. Additional information costs extra, but the name, age, phone number, and address is free. I actually need advice on how to move forward now that I have this information, if you could visit the forum "Searching for my birth father" with advice that would be great...
