I have had this court thing from when I was adopted. It says infant male named Arvin on it. I think the paper is decare of adoption or something else. There is a smudge on it.
So, I was wondering if the name on there was actually mine. I was in foster care for a few months I heard. So I did not know if that was a name just given to me.
Yes, That would have been your last name at birth on your decree of adoption.... Most likely your birth mother's legal last name. Another reason to obtain your non id info. With your non id info that would include your b mother's age, sometimes if you are lucky in some states, a 1st name and / or her dob, you would have a better chance of identifying her. Get your non id and there are many on here that would help you figure out what to do with it and don't mention to the agency that you have your decree with your last name.
