We had children recently place in our home in preperation for adopting them. Next month, our 90 days will be up and we are more than ready to go forward with adopting them, they are ready too. Can the adopting agency legally stop that from happening? I thought it was between the kids, parents and case worker. Who has the final say so?? We have been told by the adoption agency that THEY have the final say so. True??
My understanding is that it goes to court and the judge does. However- if your agency is the one doing your post placement report if they see a need for concern than yes they will make that clear to the judge and chances are that this adoption won't work out. Hope that helps :cheer:
