I am glad to say that my biological son I gave up for adoption 42 years ago, and I have connected. It has been so surreal.
I now am looking for my biological family...I was adopted in 1954. I had 5 siblings. From my understanding both my bio parents were 24 yrs old. Lived in the Gastonia area...bio father died a few years after I was born from alcohol addiction. Bio mother had worked as an aircraft mechancial for a couple of years outside of N.C. and then textiles and of Baptist faith. Both paternal & maternal grandparents were religious. I understand that one of my paternal uncles is, or was a minister in N.C.
If any of this sounds familiar, please post to this thread. I do have non-identifying information from the Gaston County Social Services.
