Birth father/siblings

I was born in Kamloops in 1949, adopted at birth. I found my mother in1986, she told me my father's name was Leslie Hurlburt also known as Corky. According to her he was a truck driver, she later learned he was married with a family in the lower mainland. I have never found any information on this individual. If still alive, I expect he would be in his early 90's. When she told me I recalled an incident in Vernon in the mid 70's. I heard someone calling Sam, Sam and a man about my age approached me. He said "Oh, sorry, I thought you were my friend Sam Hurlburt. You look just like him." We talked for a minute then carried on. I wonder if Sam is my half brother.
