Newbie with a few financial questions

Hi everyone, my names Jennifer and dh and I are just beginning the journey of infant domestic adoption and I was hoping you could give me some answers to a few questions. First, have any of you done an adoption for $10,000 or less. If so can you let me know how and who you went through. I'm from PA by the way. Also, what financial requirements do you have to meet to adopt? Do you need a certain amount in the savings? Are you allowed to have debt? Do they check your credit score? And last what have been the best ways you have found to raise money for adoption? Thanks!
