We just completed our in-home initial interview with Olive Crest to adopt through Riverside/San Bernardino/Orange County. We are a little freaked out about the second interview. No real reason to be freaked out, we are both good people, no drugs, no criminal record, been married 10 wonderful years and have a 1 year old son (IVF baby).*The initial interview case worker kind of freaked us out talking about how invasive the interview is.What kind of questions do they ask?Has anyone else gone through Olive Crest?*

I have a friend who went through Olive Crest before moving to San Diego County (not such a happy move, but that's another story). Anyway, my friend said she had a positive experience with Olive Crest and it sounded like she didn't have to go through any MORE background checking than we did going straight through the county.
Don't worry about it. If you have no criminal record, you have nother to worry about.

They ask anything and everything about your past relationships, any instances of abuse, any time you've ever tried drugs. I mean, anything and everything. However, if you have nothing to hide it's really more of a time to smile and kind of go "nope, not us," and nothing to worry over. I felt like there was nothing we could be asked that would be difficult because we just didn't have anything to say.
