I am looking for help locating any of my birth family members. I am a female born 6/26/72 at Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana and adopted through Volunteers of America. My birth mother and birth father were both enrolled in a nursing program at the time of my birth. My maternal grandfather was a pharmacist and my maternal grandmother was a registered nurse. My birth father was originally from Ohio and was working as a bartender to pay his way through school. My birth mother named me "Janet Marie" at birth. I have looked all over the sites I have been able to find online and have had no luck. I have registered with the International Registry but have had no contact. my name is jamar lawson (adopted name),in search of my birthparents,(dont know there names).anybody who knows of the illegal adoption by my adopted parents,dallas hall-lawson (now patricia holsten) and gordie lawson (adopted dad). i was born in brasil, sao paulo,sao salvador or the amazon???. if anybody who knows some info on this plea for assistance in helping bring closure on this matter.i was around 6mths to a year old when this happened. i think my birthname is jaomaro miguel dasilva (based on clouded memory);)
