I know here you need to have 50 square feet per child, but does anyone know if there's a maximum number of children that can share a bedroom? (Somehow I just can't picture someone being approved by their agency to have 5 children in one room, no matter how big it is.)
I am not 100% sure, but I know we were approved for 4 children since we had 2 extra bedrooms. Not for sure if we can have been approved for a bigger sibling group, but then again four was our max.

If your bedroom was big enough to equal 50sf per child, then you would be allowed to have that many in there.
We had 4 children in one room before, because the square footage allowed it.
I can tell you from experience that the only way it works successfully, is if all are one gender (obviously) and near the same age. Teens just don't appreciate having 6 yo's in the same room.
We were approved for 3. We have one available bedroom 2 can share. The 3rd would have to be a baby which would have to sleep in me and my husbands bedroom for a certain amount of time. I think they said until 1 year of age.
