I have two boys and one has aspergers with high anxiety, so I would really like to prepare him (not coach!) by telling him exactly what they expect of him. If I don't he will clam up and just shrug his shoulders.
Speaking of - will my oldest having these problems be an issue in a home study for foster/adopt? He's a great, smart child. He just has some hurdles.
Thanks!
Our kids were asked how they felt about the adoption, if they got in trouble much, what happened when they got in trouble. It was brief. My teen dd said she got in trouble frequently because "There are an awful lot of hormones around here!" lol

I think they will get the typical answers you get from any. The shrugged shoulders! They usually ask simple questions though. Things like what happens when you break the rules, do they spank you, etc. No biggie.
Thank you!! I asked my oldest "What happens when you break the house rules?" He replies, "Suffer the consequences!!!" Oh, no. lol I asked him to elaborate and he says, "Go to time out or have fun things taken away". Ok. I think we're ok :)
