I'm in San Diego County and am doing foster care while we wait to get matched. I'm getting LOTS of foster placement calls.
Is there anyone out there in San Diego County who is getting as many calls as I am? I'm concerned that they aren't calling the newly licensed foster homes. If you are in my area and am waiting for a placment(s), please PM me.

I have received 3 calls today for 3 different placements! All have been for children out of our age range. I have an opening for 0-2 but no calls for that age group. Wow is it busy!

No kidding! Things have actually slowed down for me this past week. I had to turn down a bunch of placements for the same reasons. I actually had to re-clarify with the placement workers what we can take for placements and where we can "bend".
I'm excited to get a new little one or two in the house. I don't like it that kids have to come into care, but I sure love taking care of them when they do. :)
