Church Refused to Marry Black Couple

My first thought was "Really, still?!" Why is their still such ignorant people in the U.S.? Obviously the church elders just go to church to pass judgement onto others and not to practice their religious teachings. So sad for this couple having to deal with raciest in their own church.

This story is so disturbing to me. All I can say is the self-righteous will also stand before God on the Day of Judgment. They may very well find themselves being directed from the front of the line way back to the rear. Too many modern-day Pharisees, if you ask me...and we all know what Jesus said about the Pharisees. Sure, churches shouldn't be regulated by the government, but on the other hand, why are they exempt from paying any taxes? Even restaurants and lunch counters in the Deep South have had to comply with nondiscrimination laws since the 1960's.

I just wonder if this same "chuch" refused to take there money when the offerning plate was being passed around.
