We actually got a call about a week ago but I was at work and hubby was scared to do it alone (I work 24 hr shifts)

Then 4 days later, on Tuesday, we got another call for another set of siblings...a 3 mos old girl and a 3 yr old girl. So basically the same age group as our last placement! Except this placement doesn't have a definite plan like the last one did. Court was today but parents didn't show and so it is happening tomorrow. Plus they will get a 2 hr visit tomorrow after court. I guess expecting to be here a while?
Having 2 kids especially when one doesn't sleep through the night is a little bit tiring but I love being a mom :love:
(I feel like life hasn't stopped since they got here! And keep my hubby in your thoughts as I work Saturday and he has them by himself :eek: )

How fun! Hope you get baby girl on a schedule and sleeping good for you! I haven't had a newbie in a couple months so I'm out of that up at night routine. I actually miss it!
Sounds like we've all been busy. We got another call this week too, but we are still waiting to see if it happens.

So things are going well with the girls. Baby had a visit with her father. The mother hasn't been showing up for court plus there are more details regarding violence in their home. I think baby may be staying for a while...
But it sounds like the girls might be split up since relatives showed up for the older girl (different fathers). We should know something in a couple weeks.
Sarah: Aww a 3 day old :love: I work with newborns for my job so I just love a fresh baby!
