Has anyone heard of this? In our area there are several foster parents who have adopted and then gotten more foster kids than they have room for and are adding bedrooms onto the house, since there are several families doing this and hiring contractors to do it, I am wondering if there is some sort of grant for building on to house more children.

It may be they are just building on to be able to help more children. Being a foster parent is a calling and there are sooo many children who need loving homes. We considered adopting one more but declined not because of the room, we could just add on, but because we felt we could not be the parents we wanted to if we had another small child. Some can do it, but I know my limitations.
