Hello, my husband and I are working with a foster-adoption agency in NorCal. We have completed all our training, background checks, and paperwork. We have been waiting 5 weeks to be assigned a social worker. When we email the agency, they respond they are working out caseloads and will assign our case when they have room.
Is this typical of agencies? I'm not sure if we are getting the run-around and if we should look into other agencies.
