This was the reported post (user requested post be deleted). Instead of deleting the entire post I deleted her personal email address, pm'd the member letting her know what and why it was done. She complained that she was getting spam due to her personal email being listed. I let her know that I didn't remove the entire post because this allows legitimate pm's to reach her.
I know, clear as mud. Hard to put into words.

And did you tell her that ordering us to DELETE IMMEDIATLY (or however she phrased it) was rude and it was her own fault for listing her email address on a public website? ;)

I can't believe how stupid some people are posting their personal emails on a public forum. What did she think? Only legitimate responses would be sent to her? Sheesh.

Did she PM you back in reply to yours?
I deal with that constantly on Fertility. They post their full name and all sorts of personal medical information and then are shocked when they Google their name and it all shows up for Aunt Mille and the world to read. And I need to fix it NOW!

So she is complaining about the edit? It was the first day of school here and I am so tired I can't think straight at this point. I am sure it all makes sense and is just me.
Trust me Crick. The stuff some of these people post, poor Aunt Millie is not the half of it. I don't think anything I read on there could shock me anymore.

I wonder how she's so sure it came from her post on here? I have more problems with "friends" sending me spam (i.e. their addresses have been taken over.) Frankly, for me it was facebook I think.
