Single adopting with a odd work schedule

Hello All I was wondering if anyone has completed an adoption or fostered as a single with an odd work schedule. I work 24 hours on, 48 hours off. I would love nothing more than to be a parent, but don't know how realistic it is with this work schedule as a single parent. I also don't have any family nearby who could help me. Any advice appreciated!
