Any LDS members adopt from Florida?

Hey all, Just wondering if any members have adopted from Foster Care in Florida. We are not going through the church because my husband and I are not endowed yet but will be in a couple months. I just want to know how long the process takes in Florida. I read that it takes anywhere from 8 months minimum to years. How long did it take you from beginning to end? We are currently taking our MAPP classes and our homestudy will being very soon. Any information would be great! Thanks in advance!
