When you feel like things are meant to be....

We had a friend introduce us to a foster mom with two girls (in our age range) who were coming close to TPR. They were exactly what we were wanting and we really felt like God had brought us together for a reason. However, there was a family that was set to meet the girls and they decided to move forward. I feel a big let down since we had really felt like the situation was meant to be. Won't go into all the details but just venting. I keep telling myself that soon it will be my turn or that things will work in Heavenly Fathers time and not my timeline but I'm disappointed. How do you guys cope with those frustrating moments?
