10 year old Foster daughter went to cousins for Thanksgiving. Two days before, I had took foster daughter to the doctor cause she had been sick. Doctor said she had sinusitis, bronchitis and lymph glands were swollen with knots on them. Doctor prescribed meds for her to take. Anyway, when I picked foster daughter up today the cousin said she stopped foster daughters meds on thanksgiving day. I told the cousin she needed to have all the doses of her meds. The cousin replied really and got in her car and left. By the way the cousin is an adult female with kids of her own. I don't feel the cousin had a right to stop the meds without first contacting me. Caseworker told the cousin prior to visit that if something happened she needed to contact me and gave her my number. I called foster daughter at cousins house on Thanksgiving day and nothing was mentioned to me that anything had happened that would give the cousin a right to stop the meds. Again, I don't feel the cousin had a right to make a decision in stopping the meds. Does anyone else feel the cousin didnt have a right to stop the meds???
