We signed on 10/31/2012 and both the DCFS ASW and our FFA ASW worked hard to get ppwk to our lawyer, who called us back this week to say they submitted final ppwk to clerk on 11/19/2012 and we are just waiting for the call about the hearing date...think we'll make it by end of year?
Anyone know how it is going in LA County Adoption court?

LACATony - we hired the most assertive lawyer recommended by our agency. She finalized two other families with which we are friends and they both had 7 week turn-arounds. It's worth paying upfront, IMHO.
