Lack of Contact

We finalized in April, and for a long time I struggled with when I should contact bio mom about our kids. Life got in the way and I finally just sent our Christmas card (with pic of the kids) and a note saying if she wanted continued contact that she could email me. I haven't heard anything. Tonight, we had a visit with our kids half brother (who lives with his bio dad) and his paternal grandparents (no blood relation to our kids, and declined placement with our kids for personal reasons). Grandma said that bio mom has not contacted half brother's dad for a long time and didn't call at Christmas either (I think she called them around Thanksgiving if I remember). Grandma is wondering if she was arrested again. I'm a little sad that this is very probable... I was really hoping that she would turn her life around after having been in prison for 3+ years while her kids were in custody... But overall I'm just wondering where she is and what has happened to her. Sigh. :confused:
