How long did it take to get your first check?

We are fine either way but we are budgeting for the girl's upcoming birthday so we'd love to know. I know something they really want but it's over our usual birthday budget. However, if we get a check then, of course, I'd get it for them. Either way, how long did it take you to get your first check?

We signed placement papers for baby boy at the beginging of Dec and received the letter right before Christmas of how much we would recieve each month. The letter said we will get paid between the 10-15th of January. From what I have heard they mail them out on the 10th of each month. Hope this helps some.

Oh cool, thanks! We got our paper saying how much we were getting at placement but that was December 21st so right before the holidays. I wonder if we might have to wait until February. No biggie but I can't get the girls each a leap pad. LOL

You should still be receiving a partial check for December this month. They just pay you for the number of days they were with you based on your per day amount. So don't give up hope for their Leap Pads just yet:)
