Hi,
I was wondering if anyone was a member of a facebook group for foster adoption. I am a member of a group for parents of autistic children and I find it so helpful to connect with similar families. I would love to join one for foster adoption.

yeah! I would like that.....I've been so busy with the wedding and then honeymooning and getting adapted but have more time to sit down and type on the forums now.

I am part of thee groups on facebook, and some great people are there.
One is Adopting the Older Child, not all from foster care.
One is just called Foster Parenting Support, but many are also adoptive parents.
Last is Adopt America Network's Support group.
I might get blocked for this because some pages don't like you suggesting other pages, but you can never get enough support!

If you request to be added to the group, be sure to check your "other" folder in Facebook. One of the Administrators will e-mail you to ensure we only have foster/adopt parents in the group. If you don't respond in a few days, your request will be deleted and you'll need to request to be added again.
