Hi, myself and my twin brother were adopted on 5/20/1981 in Springfield IL, we found out that our adopted parents changed our names. I am not sure how I can get any information on my medical records if I don't know what my Biological name was???

please help me someone, Ive been searching for 15 years.

Do your parents not know your names at birth? Agency that you were adopted through? Lawyer who handled the adoption?

I know others will have better ideas, sorry!

my parents seem not to remember anything. all I know is the hospital & Dr.'s name where we were born at. we were told 2 names Tramisha and Tayshaun were our original names, but I dont know a last name or the exact spelling of the first names???

Illinois unsealed the Original Birth Certificates for Adult Adoptees last year. You can order them now.

I think your original birth certificate can help you out.

As you said you remember the hospital. I think you should start form their. May be they will help you by finding your medical records. I think after so many years they must have that record. You have to do some efforts. Hope you will be succeed in this.
