The Hudson/CT Chapter of the Adoptive Parents Committee is pleased to announce its upcoming Adoption Mini Conference on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The Mini-Conference will take place at Sacred Heart Elementary School in Hartsdale and will feature speakers presenting 6 workshops on a variety of topics of interest to both pre-adoptive and post-adoptive families. Topics are still being finalized but will include: Fears and Fantasies about Adoption ՕAgency vs. Independent Adoption Search & Reunion ՕAdopting a Child Who is Not a Newborn Advertising in Adoption ՕAdoptee Panel. If there is enough interest, we can also hold a pre-adopt orientation workshop. Light supper and plenty of networking time with adoption professionals and adoptive parents will be provided. Admission for this event is $75 for non-APC members (which includes a years membership) and $25 for current members.
