I was born at Park City Hospital in Bridgeport, CT
I would love to know my roots and get in touch with my birth family.
You can go to that hospital and search the record to find out your birth family.
You can also search it online.
I think your new family can give you some information about your biological parents like their name and their resident address.

Thank you but the hospital is no longer open. My parents got me from catholic charities at birth and all they and I received is medical records, ages and nationalities. Any other recommendations?
If the placement agency you were adopted through is still open you can go there. If not, get a hold of the courthouse in the county you were born in, there are papers you can file to release your birth parent information to you. But, your birthparents had to have signed a release when they terminated their rights to allow information to be released (I think). I was born in Oct. 1979 and put up for adoption too, and I think that's what my bio Mom told me.
Good Luck!!!
