Need to change my username

I don't think I've been active on these boards since 2007, but I found myself drawn back today. I have much to share, but first things first:

I need to change my username for privacy issues. (I am now a therapist & have a need & desire to keep my personal life private.)

How can I change my username? If I can't, can I delete my current account & start a new one?
