Looking for a Central Florida family.....

......specifically Brevard County. My stepdaughter's half-brother is currently in care here living with a family member of ours. They never intended to adopt him but agreed to take custody of him until he was legally free for adoption and placed with his forever family so that he would not have to be placed in a traditional foster home with strangers. He is now and DCFS has given us all some time to try to find a local family so that he can maintain these relationships before listing him on their website. He is a 6 year old boy with no health or behavioral issues. I say that from personal knowledge and experience, as I had him in my home for a period of time. He has strong bonds with his sister and her child, and also with us and our children, so it would be really wonderful if he could continue to grow up here. At one time, I knew tons of people who were hoping to grow their family.... now everyne I know is kind of past that stage. My hope is that someone who knows someone will know someone else.......
