I think my birth mother must have joined the C.I.A. because aside from 2 high school yearbook photos which PROBABLY are her, there's nothing on Ancestry.com. A Google search leads to 3 listings, 2 of which of which are meaningless "we can do background checks on anybody but who you're looking for for a fee" sites, and one leading back again to one of the yearbook photos. Intellius and other similar sites are basically telling me she never existed.
I'm planning on contacting people from the high school to see if anybody knew her, but the address given on the OBC being over 40 years old is probably a dead end.
I guess I have my work cut out for me. The game is afoot...:coffee:

You Can search ancestry.com by addresses...might give you other names of who lived there

Well, she might be married now, and once married, they are sometimes more difficult to find.Try looking at obituaries in and around the city that is listed as your mother's address on the OBC. You might get lucky and find her listed as a surviving relative. Often both the maiden and married names are listed.
