Hello....I haven't been on this forum for a very long time. I was help many time while I was looking for my son and after I found him. It was a very long ride. I am in contact with my son now and we have a nice relationship. Years ago, I tried to get in touch with his birthdad many times after I found my son. He didn't want any contact with me. So, I gave up. Today, he befriended me on Facebook. I would like some advice on what I should say to him. I just can find the words. After all it has been 46 years since we have spoken. I won't tell him where to find our son until I ask him if he wants to hear from him. My son and I live in the same state, but not his birthdad. Help ladies, I need advice. Thank you

Same thing happened with to my bmom. She told me about it first actually then asked if i was comfortable with her telling my bdad that we had contact. I told her yes but I wanted him to email me if he wanted any contact. I now have a very nice online/phone relationship with bdad but he also lives in a different state. I would at least tell your son about it. :) good luck with everything and I hope that helps.
