Hi! This is my first post on the boards :)
My name is Brianna, and my husband's name is Eric. We're both almost 25 years old, and looking to foster to adopt 5-14 year old girls.
I've got my CPR/First Aid/HIV/BBP training and my orientation done, and I'm halfway through my PRIDE training class! We're all very excited about the prospect of helping children who need it the most. We've already got the room set up for 2 girls to move in!
I just wanted to say good luck to everyone, and maybe connect with anyone from WA?
Hi! I am in Whatcom county. WE just finished our pride training and are waiting on our fingerprints and the home inspections. What county are you in? Welcome!! This site is amazing!

Awesome! I live in Grays Harbor county, about 30 minutes west of Olympia. How exciting! I've finished all of the paperwork other than my husband's personal information, so hopefully I can get the fingerprints done soon!

Hey there, and welcome!
One thing that I've found is that I should've done my personal information packet AFTER taking the training. I learned SO much from my instructors and what they taught me that I kept having to go back and completely rewrite my opinions on several of the questions!
Also, DEFINITELY do the orientation in person. I tried to do it online, but it just didn't give me enough information that I truly needed.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to private message me!
Hello and welcome! I am also from Washington...my mom used to live out near(ish) to you...she was in Hoodsport, on the canal. Anyway, we are on the east side of the mountains! Congrats on getting things going in the right direction!!
