Mother's Day Support

To All Birth Mothers on Mother's Day... The truth is I dont care if I am not acknowledged on MotherҒs Day. If it is too threatening for the other mother to even think I may get a call from my daughter let alone shareӔ time with her on mothers day - then perhaps that mother should ask herself why. The answer is that I, her birth mother spent 9 months nurturing her, I gave birth to her, I held out my arms to her in her earliest moments, I looked at her with love and ached to give her a better life than I could at the time. I donҒt know now if she has had a better life or not but those early times in her life that we shared can never be taken away from me. My daughter cant deny them, nor can her ғmother. Power to all Birth Mothers out there who are pushed aside after a warm reunion with their adopted children because the adoptive mother feels threatened! When people treat you disrespectfully it says more about them than you girls!! Stand proud and give yourself something special on Mother's Day.
