You haven't given any info, so I'll ask a few questions that might get you started.Do you know anything else - names, locations, the hospital you were born, etc?I don't know what the state law is in Minnesota, but some states will provide you with your original birth certificate (not just the amended one, which lists your adoptive parents as mother + father), which will give you your birth mother's name, and possibly even your birth father's. That's a good starting point, if Minnesota provides the originals. You can google Minnesota adoption records or something like that and get info on what Minnesota can do. Were you adopted through an agency or through children & family services? (Since you were in foster care, I imagine the adoption was handled through children's services, but I don't want to assume.) If you were adopted through an agency, you can request information from them.Every bit of information you find gets you just a bit closer to finding your birth family.I wish you luck.
