The anticipation after submitting my paperwork is killing me! I had every piece of info my licensor needed (which she extremely appreciated), and I know that background checks went out and our reference letters have been sent back to our licensor. We're going in for our FBI fingerprinting tomorrow.
I feel like I'm abusing my pinterest waiting for any kind of information coming from my licensor. She said it would take 2 months at the most to get licensed if everything goes smoothly, but I don't really know how long each part of the process takes.
I'm just excited and nervous to meet our new girl(s)! Our county is in extreme need (we've got 350+ kids in care and only 75 foster homes in the entire county. They're having to resort to housing kids in motel rooms and having case workers look after them because all the foster and group homes are full), so I'm not expecting a long wait at all after we get our license.
Anybody else playing the waiting game?

The process is tough. Brett found out the homestudy was sent to the agency, so now waiting for them to come out and review it with me then take it to the certification team and then home inspection then done! :)
