Hmm, I don't know if the girls had a honeymoon period. The first major tantrum was just about two days after we got them. They had really bad tantrums for the first two months and started to make improvements after that.
Yes, we still have behaviors after visits. Yes, we've backslid a few times. However, there was no calm before the storm.

The longest we ever had for this was I think one month...but they seem to have always got what we got after 2 weeks.... as that seems to be the time and then after that it is anything can and will happen... good luck!!
