The Queen (age 5.5) had an EEG Tuesday morning. The results are "abnormal spikes". That is all the Ped could/would tell me. Neurology wants to see us as soon as possible. So, we have an appointment next Tuesday. Anyone with experience here?
The Queen had an appointment with a Psychologist yesterday and he is convinced she had 2 seizures while he was working with her.
The only thing I've heard in relation to abnormal spikes is epilepsy, but that doesn't say much. (I have a friend who has it)
I hope others here have personal experience to share, and really hope the docs have answers for you on Tuesday! How scary to be told that "ASAP" - makes your heart jump up in your throat a little, no?

No experience with this, but thinking as Crick has mentioned. I hope things can be resolved well.....putting in a prayer and thinking about the two of you.... (((HUG)))
Sincerely,
Linny
Crick & Linny - Thank you for the hugs & prayers. I too hope we have some answers tomorrow but it could be more tests before we know what is going on. You know how doctors like to "rule out" things. I will keep you posted.
The Queen is having focal seizures (staring spells). Diagnosed with Epilepsy. Neuro Doc ordered MRI and seizure meds. We see a NeuroPsych doctor in August.
Thanks for the update. Hope your August appointment is EARLY August....just so you can put things together more quickly!
Sincerely,
Linny
