I am helping my aunt find her son and as I have been scrolling through all of the threads hoping to find something, your threads have stood out. I am a newbie at this but if I come across anything I will pass it on. Sending my thoughts and prayers to you that the reunion will be sooner than later.

Hi,
I want to thank you for posting your efforts to find your daughter b 8/23/1971 and hope for your success. I am helping my niece, Beth, search for her birth family. She was also born 8/23/1971, but in Manhattan, NY at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. It was a private adoption and the birth index in NYC lists the birth name as Stevens.
Have you used search angels or DNA to try to find her? We are doing all of the above but have not yet found a substantial lead.
It is particularly sad today because Beth is such a good daughter to her adoptive mom who was emergently hospitalized in NYC yesterday and Beth was with her all day.
Warm regards to you and your family and I hope you will be successful in your search for your daughter.

So sorry to hear Beth's amom is in the hospital. I hope she is well soon. I haven't used a search angel or DNA. I've just posted on a few sites hopeing she sees one of them. I have a feeling she doesn't know she was adopted. When I was pregnant with her, if I heard it once, I heard it 100X, they matched her up so perfectly that they never have to tell her she was adopted. I hope that's not the case because I'd hate for her to find out after her aparents pass away. Good luck to you and Beth, Mary

Yes Willow Horse I have seen this a few yrs. ago. She had e-mailed me asking if I could be her mom. I e-mailed her back asking her a few questions but she never answered back. A search angel on here called the phone number on here and checked the e-mail address and said not her phone number and fake e-mail and she used a fake name too. Glad she didn't keep it up and try to spam me. I think she didn't have the answers to the questions I had asked and gave up.
Thank you so much for asking me if I'd see the post. Mary
