She left the hospital at 4 days old with the adoptive parents who lived in Ripley Oklahoma. The adoptive mother was a school teacher at Ripley and may have met the birth mother through a cafeteria employee at the school Mrs. Phillips. The birth mother was from somewhere up north possibly Chicago and only came her to have the baby to hide it from her family. She had 2 older children a boy and a girl I believe and may have been divorced. The adoption decree lists the babies name at birth as Baby Girl White. Finalized on May 4, 1958.
