what do you call the day you bring your foster/adopt child home?

I have the same feeling about the "gotcha" term with children from foster care. To me, it sounds like snatching someone against their will. Here, we call our anniversary "Family day" and we celebrate by doing a family activity. You could also call it something playful like "familyversary" or "Chubbs day".ETA: Congrats on your two years together :)
