...not for a relationship or anything like that. But it would be nice to know a little about myself. It's been 42 years of not being "connected" or having any history or roots. Now I have kids who have half a history. On the off chance one of my birth parents reads this, I was born in 1971 in Morristown, NJ. I left the hospital and went into foster care. My foster parents adopted me in late 1972. Apparently my birth parents were in college locally and I was an inconvenience to their continued education. My birth mother's surname is/was Dooling. I know nothing about my birth father other than that I "have curly hair just like him". I don't know what agency I was adopted through, but I believe it was a faith-based one. I have the feeling that my adoptive parents knew more than they told me, but they are passed on now.
