My husband and I recently adopted our baby girl from social services. We are foster parents and we are hoping to adopted another child. I am SOOOO THANKFUL for all the guidance we have received from social services and just thankful in general that people choose this line of work. I really want to send their office a holiday treat (I was thinking Fairy tail Brownies). I don't want them to think it's to win their favor the next time they have a placement... can I do this? Or is it inappropriate?
I realize it's a little late now, but I did all sorts of things for the office when I was a foster parent. They placed the children where they were a good fit, not based on anything else. Honestly, if some brownies is all it takes to buy them off, the office has bigger issues! I think it would be appreciated though.
FWIW, my son's adoption has been final for years and I'm still Facebook friends with his case worker. I adore her and hope that being able to watch him grow up in a positive, loving environment brings her joy.
