Rate Change Notice

Did anyone in SoCal recently receive a rate change notice? We got something in the mail, two rate change notices per child, that says the rate will change 1/1/2014. When I first read it, it looks like the rate is going down and then if you add the new rates between the two notices together, it looks like the rate is going up.

This is confusing because we already got an additional check this past month for both kiddos saying it was an add on to the rate.

Anyone have info on this?

I live in Los Angeles as well and I have not received any notices on the rate change. I will keep a look out got it and do some research.

Are you speaking of a foster care stipend change or an adoption subsidy change? The adoption subsidy has gone up. The foster care stipend has also gone up by $46 a month.
