My long lost brother who I wasn't even told about until I was 34. I put up a profile in July 2011 and hoped for the best.
Fast forward to July 2013, and I get an unexpected message in my gmail. My brother found my posting and was able to find me through it. We now Skype and e-mail regularly and have even met in person.
I post this to give hope to those still looking. It may be a long shot, and it may take a while, but it can happen!

Congrats, that is great. I also found my older sister who was surrendered for adoption before I was born. I found her from a profile on this site. It's a scary but rewarding journey.
