We have waited two years to adopt our little man. He was 16 days old when we got him and he is now over two. We just received a call today saying that our Adoption Day is NEXT Tuesday. We can't believe it. We haven't allowed ourselves to think of this day much because of all the ups and downs of the case but now that it is here... we wish we had.
Does anyone have any fun ideas they did on that day? Or any thing they wish they did but didn't do? Any thoughts at all to celebrate it during or beyond the 10 min in court?

Just had our adoption day on Thursday. We took pictures in the morning and the ceremony was in the afternoon. It was a two hour wait. Extremely exhausting day. We went home and took naps. Whatever you decide to do I would keep it low key. You can celebrate the following weekend with something bigger....we went to see Elmo live.
