I have a few questions but here is the first;
In my homestudy it says we are willing to care for kids from 0-4 this is based on the crib and toddler bed how ever both me and husband are willing to adopt older kids. Even if it means bringing the crib down until we move to a bigger place. Will the statement affect their decision to place someone with us or match us with anyone older than 4?
I would talk to your worker. In my state we are licensed for 0-17 and as many kids as will fit in our home automatically to avoid those issues.

the thing is due to my DH age we can't foster nor adopt over 13yrs old.

Depends on your State. Talk to your LW if you want to increase your age range to 0-13. Since we are w/ a FFA, we will only be placed w/ children in our age range. We would have to get a waiver to go older.
Third or Ditto with having a Conversation with your Case Management!!
Also, personally, and I will also say Professionally.
I would challenge the descrimination of your Husband's Age??
What are they specifically Advocating por favour or please??
If you both Pass everything.
You should be able to choose what you want with Foster to Adopting!!
Have they actually verbally said 'Husband is unable to make decisions regarding Teenagers over 13 years old?'
That is ' Bananas ' in Policy!!
I suspect the "rule" is the foster parent has to be so many years older than the foster child. Technically, a 21 year old man can be a foster parent. Would you want to place him with a 17 year old girl? I figure that is the reason they can't take over 13 year olds.

It's something about him or anyone being no more than half the age of the foster or adoptee.

You would not take kids older than 13 or they can cap your home at 13. We can take kids up to 17, but our range is 0-2 or maybe 4 for an adoptive placement. You still have control over who you take, but having a higher limit just allows you to take older kids if you want to.
