I have looked up much info in the past few weeks pertaining to adoption. It seems that very few places will accept adoptive parents younger than 25. My husband and I are considering becoming foster parents for this reason. If you don't mind a child/baby with special needs, it is much easier to adopt.

most private or for-profit agencies charge an outrageous amout to adopt a child. My husband and I are going through the Department of Family Services, (aka: social services). In Government agencies, little or no fees are required. Hope this is of some help you tou! Good luck!
